WHAT IS SHIPPING PROTECTION?

CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER?
We start working on your order as soon as we get it, so we are unable to make any changes or modifications to an order after it has been received.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?
Orders normally ship within 2 business days (M-F) of when they were placed. The only exception for that may be due to orders being purposefully held to prevent the products from being damaged via melting during transit. For example, if you place an order on a Thursday evening, and we deem it necessary to include ice packs and insulation because of the temperatures at parcel's destination, we may hold the order until Monday to prevent the order from being held at the carrier's warehouse over the weekend. We understand this may be frustrating at times, but we want to do everything we can to ensure products arrive safely and of the highest quality.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
We operate multiple warehouses across the country to limit order transit times. Nearly 90% of orders are received within 3 business days of shipping. Holiday Shipping: We have seen intermittent delays from FedEx & UPS over the past year and this holiday season. As such, transit times may be increased by 1-2 days due to shipping volume surges at FedEx & UPS.
WHERE DO YOU SHIP?
We can ship anywhere in the continental United States, except for PO Box addresses. Because FedEx & UPS are our carriers, we cannot ship to PO Boxes.
DO YOU OFFER RETURNS ON PURCHASES FROM RETAIL LOCATIONS?
We do not offer returns on items that are purchased from retail locations. We recommend reaching out to the retailer.

WHY IS THERE AN ADDITIONAL $5 SHIPPING CHARGE DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS?
To ensure your order arrives in perfect condition during the warmer months, we add extra insulation, ice packs, and protective packaging to keep our chocolate and food items from melting in transit. The $5 charge helps cover the cost of these seasonal materials so your products stay fresh and delicious upon arrival.

IS THIS PRODUCT GOOD FOR YOUR BRAIN?
Einstein Energy protein bars are made with nutrient-dense ingredients that support brain and body function. Each Einstein protein bar contains 4 brain ingredients including Citicoline, Lion's Mane, L-Theonine and Green Tea Caffeine.
Citicoline: Enhances focus, mental energy and brain cell protection.
Lion's Mane Mushroom: Supports memory, learning and neural growth.
L-Theanine: Promotes calm, alertness, reduces stress and improves attention.
Green Tea Caffeine: Provides sustained energy, antioxidants and smother focus.
Einstein Energy products are designed to support brain wellness as part of a balanced lifestyle that includes physical activity, nutritious eating, mental stimulation, social interaction and quality sleep. Einstein bars are not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any brain disease.
HOW MUCH OF EACH NUTRIENT IS IN AN EINSTEIN ENERGY BAR?
We do not disclose exact quantities of the brain nutrients in our bars because the FDA has not issued recommended daily values for them and there is slight variability of amounts from bar-to-bar. Einstein Energy Smart Protein Bars contain 40mg of Caffeine per bar. For comparison, the FDA considers up to 400 mg per day to be a safe amount for most healthy adults.
DO EINSTEIN BARS CONTAIN NUTS?
Some of the Einstein bar flavors contain nuts, and the others may contain traces of nuts. Please see each product's allergen label. Our general recommendation to anyone allergic would be to avoid products that contain, or may contain, ingredients related to their allergy.

WHERE ARE EINSTEIN BARS MADE?
Einstein protein bars sold in the US are manufactured in the US.
ARE EINSTEIN PROTEIN BARS KOSHER?
Yes, Einstein protein bars are certified Kosher.
FOR HOW LONG CAN EINSTEIN BARS BE KEPT?
Shelf life varies between different products, but is generally 12 months. Please refer to the best before date which is always printed on the packaging.
WHY IS PROTEIN IMPORTANT?
Protein is an essential nutrient. During physical activity protein turnover increases in the muscles. Very hard exercise also leads to an increase in the breakdown of muscles, and because of this the muscles need to be "repaired". Protein contributes to both the growth and maintenance of muscle mass. That's why it's important to get protein in your diet.
WHAT'S THE "CONTAINS A BIOENGINEERED FOOD INGREDIENT" STATEMENT?
The National Bioengineered Food Disclosure Law, passed by Congress in July of 2016, directed USDA to establish this national mandatory standard for disclosing foods that are or may be bioengineered. Foods that are subject to the labeling requirements under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA) are subject to BE Disclosure standards.
WHAT ARE BIOENGINEERED FOODS?
A food that is made from bioengineered foods or contains ingredients for which source materials are bioengineered foods. Food products that can not verify that all ingredients are non-GMO, shall display the statement "Contains a Bioengineered Food Ingredient" even if the product does not have any ingredients declared as bioengineered.
The palm oil in EINSTEIN ENERGY SMART PROTEIN BAR products is generally understood to be sourced from non-GMO palm trees; however, palm oil plantations do not "certify" with any world auditing organizations that the trees are non-GMO and our supplier does not segregate (Identity Preserve) palm oil during our processing steps in a way that would guarantee the absence of soybean, cottonseed or corn oils, which are predominantly sourced from genetically modified seeds. Therefore, our palm oil-based products are sourced from non-GMO plants, but are not able to be certified as such.

The vast majority of ingredients in all EINSTEIN ENERGY SMART PROTEIN BAR products are sourced in the USA. There are a few ingredients that may be sourced in other countries.
